Description: Have you noticed a decline in cat veterinary visits at your clinic? If so, you’re not alone. While dog owners may have no problem bringing their pets in for annual and semi-annual visits, cat owners often need more encouragement to schedule consistent appointments and commit to lifelong care. But in the long run, this may not be so surprising. Pet owners have different needs and concerns that vary by species. Understanding how a cat owner thinks—and what they value when it comes to their pet’s care—gives you the opportunity to build lasting client relationships. This session will help you better communicate with cat owners. You’ll learn how to make them feel more comfortable and cared for at your practice while helping them understand the importance of regular veterinary visits for their cat’s overall preventive care.
