Privately owned small animal AAHA general practice in Lewisville, Texas looking for 1-2 full-time Associate Veterinarians. We value excellent primary care, and we honestly believe in a team approach to healthcare is ideal. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills and an interest in growing.  Mentoring is available for both clinical skills and surgical skills if desired.  Interest or training in TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine), acupuncture, or rehabilitation is a plus, but not required. 

North Texas is a high-growth area in a state with no state income tax and an affordable cost of living.  We are wait-listing clients, so candidates would begin building their own portfolio of client and clinic referral relationships immediately.

Required:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Texas practice license.  Certification in acupuncture or rehabilitation is a plus.

Other Considerations:

Relocation assistance could be provided for the right candidate.

We are looking for an associate veterinarian for our privately owned practice located in Allen Texas. Our animal hospital has a well-established network of clientele and tenured staffing. We are seeking a motivated veterinarian who is capable of handling high case volumes, with a collaborative spirit. Knowledge in dentistry is a plus! The clinic has in-house lab equipment, radiology, ultrasound, dental, and surgical equipment, as well as easy access to CT scanning. Do you have an interest in misunderstood pets? Veterinary Behavior Solutions is looking to add a vital member to our cohesive group of behavior professionals - including Dr. Amanda Florsheim and our certified behavior modification trainers.

The tentative schedule would be 3-4 days a week in office with days for client communication and further studies built in. Some experience with behavioral medicine is preferred, but there is ample opportunity to learn. Must have a commitment to excellence in care, empathetic communication, and a desire to educate the public on the humane and ethical treatment of animals. Exp 3/24
